This was a fun and PACKED show. It really flew by fast too on account of all the great guests we had. Phyllis Galde was a person I connected with on a whim. It was a long shot. I aimed high just to see if we'd get any reply. We sure did and she confirmed fast too. Dobie was downright giddy.

           In addition to talking about her magazine and there is plenty to talk about there considering Fate Magazine just published their 700th issue, but she had enough of her own personal stories to fill a magazine and that is ALWAYS interesting.

           Lara is really coming into her own. I absolutely love her and she's really growing into her role as a radio show co-host. It's very much a new type of gig for her, but there are few people I know that can carry a conversation as well as she does, so I had a lot of confidence in her abilities before bringing her into the studio as a special guest host.

           Though Lara was feeling pretty sick before the show, she really lit up once Master Ron Fitzgerald joined us with Jason Davis, who is organizing the Chicago Horror Film Fest. Lara told me later that she won a scream contest in the past when her scream cracked a glass of water a judge was drinking from. So far we have not gotten any complains from listeners about broken windows.

           Later, Tiffany Shepis joined us. She is an amazingly fun actress that I've had the pleasure of haning out with in Chicago and LA. She's a regular actress of a director friend of mine, Rolfe Kanefsky. I met Rolfe and, by extension, Tiffany, through Scott Ray, an insane handshaker (meaning he knows everyone) from Kalamazoo, MI.

           I attended this film festival in the past as a vendor (I sold books and Mary Gutfleisch sold art) and was very let down with the turnout. No matter the audience this time around, simply having Tiffany in attendence will make this an incredibly fun weekend. Pictures will follow on our picture page HERE.
