A mystery can be simultaneously fascinating and intimidating. It can be internalized for reinvention -- or it can become a shared space for contemplation. Occasionally, we need to cast light into the shadows to have an epiphany. Or sometimes a coded story can provide a momentary escape. In this issue, we explore ambiguous mysteries in the form of photography, graphic design, writing and obscure locations. Although, however much we analyze aesthetic merit, information is never neutral. A mystery is the point where insight is hidden yet open to interpretation. Maybe these mysteries reveal themselves only when we understand how to really see them... |A note from Bo_FG|
